STAR
It is produced by controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of yeast protein (Kluyveromyces fragilis). 70 % this modified yeast protein consists of free amino acids, di-peptides and tri-peptides. Because of this very intensive "pre-digestion" the limited capacity of the young piglet to digest protein enzymatically is therefore relieved. Finally, due to the extremely high digestibility less undigested protein is entering the lower intestine. This results in a reduced development of intestinal pathogenes.High protein content yeast. The protein and the amino acids biological characteristics, as well as the high digestibility make the STAR product perfect to formulate specific high value biological products, such as for weaning piglets.
