The yeasts, such as the Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, provide many basic nutrients and liberate a group of enzymes that multiply the digestive and fermenting activity. The yeasts stimulate the animal to eat more food and influence in the pH regulation and the flora in the intestinal tract.
